The prize, on behalf of Troton, was accepted by Katarzyna Romańska. Troton has received this prestigious award for the second time in a row.
The fact that more and more Polish companies bets on ecology as their strategy of development and and building their image, was judged very positively by Michał Nurzyński, director of Department of Education and Promotion of Balanced Development of the Ministry of Environment, as well as Anne Lise Gjestvang, a Green Business Norway manager, who were guests of honour at the Gala.
Anne Lise Gjestvang reminded that Norway was the first country in the world to create a ministry of environment, and nowadays organisation of events such as the Lillehammer olympic games begins with the word “ecology”.
"In Norway "ecology" means everything. I am glad that in Poland this issue has become important as well" said Anne Lise Gjestvang.
Increasingly more of Polish companies is aware that complying with environmental protection regulations is too little nowadays. To be ecologically responsible means to do in this area more, than law dictates" said Arkadiusz Primus, president of the European Forum of Ecological Responsibility.
